On 8th Mangshir 2081, the Social Service Club and Interact Club of KMCSC joined hands to organize a transformative Rural Immersion Camp (RIC) at Shri Amarkhu Madyamik Bidyalaya in Tharke Municipality. This impactful initiative was a testament to the institution’s commitment to fostering empathy, awareness, and meaningful community connections.
Bridging Knowledge and Care
The camp aimed to empower students and the local community through interactive sessions focused on:
- Personal Development and Self-Improvement: Practical tips and insights to build confidence and enhance life skills.
- Health and Hygiene Awareness: Sessions emphasizing the importance of maintaining hygiene in daily life.
- Menstrual Health Education: A critical discussion addressing menstruation myths and challenges to promote awareness and dignity.
To support the message of health and care, the participating students distributed sanitary napkins, ensuring a practical and immediate positive impact on the local community.
Learning and Growing Together
This immersion experience wasn’t just about giving—it was also about learning. The participants and organizers forged meaningful connections, shared stories, and gained insights into rural life. The camp highlighted the importance of collective growth and the strength of unity in driving social change.
